Dr. Norman Koven is a native of Albany, NY and received a BA magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1974. He received his MD degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1978 and completed Pediatrics Residency at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals of Cleveland in 1980. He completed fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the University of Pennsylvania in 1982 and received Board Certification in Pediatrics and in Allergy and Immunology in 1983. He has been practicing Pediatric and Adult Allergy, Asthma and Immunology since 1983 and is Allergy Division Chief at Aria Hospital. He is also on the medical staffs of Holy Redeemer Hospital and CHOP. Dr Koven is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
He and his family have resided in the Philadelphia area since 1991. His hobbies include golf, travel and leisure time at the NJ Shore.
Dr. Koven has a particular interest in nasal allergy, sinusitis, asthma, food allergy, and hives. He sees pediatric and adult patients in our Philadelphia PA office.
